Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various saws and cutting equipment to produce high-quality components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to read blueprints effectively. The Saw Operator will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet our quality standards.
Responsibilities
•
Operate saws and cutting equipment with precision and efficiency.
•
Perform quality inspections on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
•
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine cutting requirements.
•
Utilize hand tools and precision measuring instruments for accurate measurements.
•
Maintain equipment by performing routine checks and minor repairs as needed.
•
Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve workflow.
•
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Qualifications
•
Proven experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar manufacturing role is preferred.
•
Strong understanding of quality inspection processes and standards.
•
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
•
Experience using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and cranes safely.
•
Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
•
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
•
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Must be proficient in operating a forklift.
•
