POSITION
Utility Network & Partners, Inc. (UTILITYnet) is seeking a skilled and motivated Web Developer to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, writing, modifying, integrating, and testing front-end code for our web applications. We specialize in creating enrollment, billing, settlement, and reporting systems for electricity, natural gas, and Internet services. We are looking for someone who pays strong attention to detail, strives for customer satisfaction, and is passionate about delivering high-quality web solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•Develop attractive and highly useable web applications with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
•Work with business and system teams to define, develop, test, and deploy solutions.
•Collaborate with the team to continuously improve our best practices.
•Strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
•Perform regular maintenance on existing websites, including installing and testing updates.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with web pages.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor's degree or related educational experience with at least five (5) years of experience in web development.
•Experience in the utility or technology-related industries is preferred.
•Experience in development with hand coding advanced HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
•Strong knowledge of UX/UI principles and design.
•Experience developing responsive websites, web applications (mobile, tablet).
•Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
•Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-office teams.
•Understanding of graphic design principles.
•This role primarily requires on-site work.
SKILLS
•Proficiency in Semantic HTML Markup.
•Adherence to programming best practices.
•Excellent organizational and self-management skills.
•Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
•Focus on making continual improvements to our processes, tools and development lifecycle.
•Experience with version control systems in a collaborative development environment.
