McDade Waterworks, Inc. is a privately held company headquartered in Tampa, Florida. We have specialized in water & wastewater treatment plant market since 1989. We provide mechanical piping, valves and supplies to general contractors that are building tomorrow's critical water and wastewater infrastructure.
We are searching for qualified candidates for a water/wastewater treatment plant estimator.
Responsibilities
•
Review and analyze plans and specifications for quoting water and wastewater treatment plant mechanical piping systems on projects throughout Florida.
•
Communicate with various material manufacturers and their representatives for project pricing and evaluate quotations for compliance with project specifications.
•
Communicate with design engineer & municipalities to clarify plan and specification discrepancies and irregularities to ensure complete and accurate proposals.
•
Review bid documents such as specifications and drawings to identify risks and opportunities related to competitive pricing.
Qualifications
•
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel a must.
•
Attention to detail with an ability to analyze and weigh risk versus reward.
•
Knowledge of various types of piping systems including ductile iron piping, stainless piping, carbon steel piping and plastic piping.
•
Knowledge of various types of valves and piping specialties.
Compensation
•
Salary is commensurate with experience + profit sharing). If you have experience in the water/wastewater treatment plant market sector salary will likely be higher.
•
