The purpose of job is to learn to perform routine technical work in operating the RWA’s water treatment plants under the direction of certified water treatment plant operators, with the expectation of obtaining CT DPH Operators Class IV certification within four years. Water Treatment Operators who are Operators in Training will remain Operators in training until receiving a Class IV certification. *Labor grade will be dependent upon Water Treatment Operator in training certification class (I, II, III or IV).
