Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various welding techniques and a strong understanding of fabrication processes. This role requires working on water towers ,construction sites and in manufacturing environments, where attention to detail and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality welds on various materials, ensuring structural integrity and compliance with industry standards.

Duties

- Perform stick welding on metal components and structures.

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications.

- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete projects.

- Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials as required.

- Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite.

- Measure parts using basic math skills to ensure precision.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.

- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

- Follow ASME codes & standards during all welding processes.

Requirements

- Proven experience in welding with a focus on construction site applications.

- Proficiency in stick welding techniques.

- Familiarity with fabrication processes including machining, soldering, and plasma cutting.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience using hand tools and power tools.

- Experience with rigging techniques for safe material handling.

- Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to welding and assembly.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 70 per week
