Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supervisor to join our dynamic team at PEAK Contracting Services Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to execute excavation tasks efficiently and safely, contributing to the successful completion of our construction projects.
Responsibilities
•Direct and supervise crews involved in underground utility work, including training, performance evaluation, and motivation.
•Plan, schedule, and coordinate projects related to water, sewer, and storm systems, including new construction, repairs, and maintenance.
•Ensure all crew members and contractors adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
•Manage equipment, materials, and personnel to ensure efficient project completion and cost-effective operations.
•Communicate effectively with staff, contractors, clients, and the public.
•Address and resolve issues and challenges encountered during project execution.
•Possess a strong understanding of underground utility systems, construction practices, and industry standards.
Skills
•Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
•Knowledge of underground utility systems, excavation techniques, and construction equipment.
•Understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to underground work.
•Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
•Ability to identify and resolve issues that arise during project execution.
•Ability to plan, schedule, and coordinate projects effectively.
