Are you an early career professional eager to grow your expertise in water resources engineering? DOWL is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Water Resources Designer 2 to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll gain hands-on experience working on a wide variety of impactful projects, including irrigation canals, dams, storm drainage systems, stream restoration and fish passage, and hydraulic structures such as bridges and culverts. You'll contribute to field investigations, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, watershed modeling, design and drafting, cost estimating, and technical report writing—building your skillset with each project. With the guidance of a licensed professional engineer, you'll also assist in preparing scopes and budgets for new work while continuing to develop your proficiency with drafting and design software and 2D/3D design concepts.
