Utility Partners of America (UPA) is seeking highly motivated and safety-conscious individuals to join its team. We will be exchanging water and electric utility meters as well as doing gas meter retrofits in Mesa, AZ and surrounding areas. Previous experience in meter installation /utility work is not required but is certainly preferred.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Must consent to a drug test, background check and motor vehicle records check

· Be a safe, responsible driver.

· Must be able to lift 40lbs and be able to walk long distances throughout the day.

· Must be able to work with handheld electronic devices, such as Smart Phones and be able to work outdoors.

· Must be hardworking and reliable.

· Must be courteous and polite and can consistently follow company policies and standard operating procedures.

· Must have the ability to use of basic hand tools.

· Must have the ability to communicate effectively and positively interact with both your colleagues and UPA’s customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Safely and efficiently upgrade Water, Gas, and Electric utility meters.

· Follow standard operating procedures and company policies.

· Read utility meters and record information accurately.

· Communicate with utility customers effectively.

· Drive company supplied work vehicle safely.

· Receive and return utility meters, tools, equipment, and supplies.

Starting Pay: $23 per hour
