Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Water Distribution Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the utility techs. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of Utility Distribution Management in a water utility and equipment needed for repairs.
Responsibilities
•
Oversee daily Water Distribution operations, including inventory management
•
Manage heavy equipment operation and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
•
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors for timely delivery of materials.
•
Conduct regular equipment repair and maintenance to minimize downtime.
•
Train, supervise, and evaluate staff to enhance productivity and teamwork.
•
Ensure compliance with company policies
Requirements
•
Proven experience in Water Distribution
•
Experience in operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
•
Familiarity with water treatment processes is preferred but not required.
•
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
•
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
•
Ability to build effective teams through strong leadership and communication skills.
•
High school diploma or equivalent.
•
Current Water Distribution License
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
