Overview:
This position is a full-time role responsible for providing administrative support for Bahr Hydroexcavation, LLC, specifically assisting the project manager of our Water Department. This position will be responsible for organizing, coordinating, and managing a variety of workflows and processes, along with also assisting with new project set-up, municipal permitting, utility locate management (via the MO 811 system), and project data entry (via the Map Call and Arc GIS systems and Excel). Organization, reliability, and strong communication skills are the primary attributes required of this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a quick paced environment and will be able to work closely with a variety of different people and positions.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry tasks with precision and accuracy in Map Call, Arc GIS or Excel.
- Work to support Project Managers of the Water Department by providing assistance with data entry, project set-up, permitting, locate requests, and general project management needs.
- Capturing, cataloging, and maintaining project documents – such as before and after photos, permits, locate requests, and daily jobsite paperwork and forms – to ultimately support Project Managers throughout the entire project life cycle.
- Assist in communications with customers, co-workers and municipalities.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook, Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience in office work related to construction preferred, but not required. Training can be provided for usage on Map Call and Arc GIS.
