Wastexperts is looking for a Waste Tech to drive company pick up trucks and other non-CDL vehicles and equipment. We're looking for candidates who take pride in hard work, being a team player, and making a difference in our community.

- Operate company vehicles to complete scheduled daily routes.
- Practice defensive driving, adhering to all traffic laws, signals, and markings with consideration for the safety of other drivers, passengers, and pedestrians.
- Sort trash, recycling, and compostable materials on-site, adhering to established guidelines.
- Manually compact and redistribute the material in bins to optimize space and efficiency.
- Sweep and maintain trash enclosures, trash rooms, and trash chutes.
- Responsibly utilize equipment and tools to complete work assignments (such as cell phones, waste caddies, tow hitches, compactors, step ladders, etc.)
- Haul bulky items off-site, including furniture, equipment, mattresses, etc.
- Identify and safely handle hazardous materials as trained.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe, and puncture-resistant boots.
- Efficiently complete scheduled routes with attention to start and completion times.
- Document services are performed by taking before and after photos as per company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team, management, and relevant departments to report and resolve any issues and ensure service levels and operations are meeting company standards.
- Submit all required paperwork and reports.
- Report accidents and incidents immediately to the appropriate personnel, following company procedures.
- Participate in weekly truck inspections and report any equipment issues promptly.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with property managers, maintenance teams, and residents.

- Full Time
- Monday - Friday: 4:00 AM start
- Overtime as required
- Valid non-CDL driver's license and clean driving record (no major violations in the last 3 years or more than 2 minor violations including handheld device in the last 3 years)
- Must have two conservative years of driving in the US.
- Frequently lift items weighing 80 lbs.
- Push/maneuver dumpsters and compactors weighing in excess of 500 lbs.
- Stepping in/out of waste containers safely with the use of a ladder as well as climbing several flights of stairs
- Work independently to complete daily assignments

- Pay $22.00-$25.00/hour, Depending on Experience
