Your Opportunity at SECURE

The Waste Labourer is responsible for day-to-day duties on site needed to complete work in a safe and timely fashion and maintain a clean work site. This position must also adhere to our safety program and work as a contributing member of the site team.

Work Environment

This position is located in Fort McMurray, Alberta and is fly in, fly out of Edmonton or Calgary on a shift rotation.

A Day in The Life

- Provide logistics support, including delivery and pickup of waste containers at the Horizon site

- Ensure waste containers are field-ready for clients

- Assist third-party transporters with loading waste for disposal

- Sample waste for lab testing

- Maintain necessary supplies

- Support on-site project execution

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

- 1 – 2 years of General Labourer experience

- Ability to work effectively in a team

- Oil & Gas service experience is an asset

- Waste management experience is an asset (training provided)

- Willingness to work extended days away from home (camp accommodations and flights provided)

- Physically capable of performing labour-intensive work

- Strong communication skills

- Forklift (Telehandler) experience

- Trailer towing experience
