Warehouse Receiver

Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in a safe and effective manner to transport/retrieve materials to and from loading areas and warehouse locations. This includes the completion and documentation of pre-operational checks on assigned equipment.

Operate loading devices to load and unload materials onto and off loading areas.

Organize and maintain accurate records for receiving and shipping of materials.

Ensure warehouse and work-space is well organized and clean.

Complete and document pre-operational checks on assigned equipment.

Clean and lubricate equipment as necessary.

Ensure loads are legal weight.

Ensure all equipment has proper safety equipment in place.

Other activities such as opening containers and crates, filling orders, taking inventory, weighing, sorting, checking materials, packing, and unpacking.

Write any required manila tags for material being received and complete any embossed tags on the embossing machine

Acting safely, within site rules and guidelines.

This position may be required to direct, coach, and mentor others.

Perform other general labor activities.
