We are currently seeking for an OPERATIONS MANAGER located at our Houston, TX headquarters

Responsibilities:

•

Focus on overseeing and optimizing business processes to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations across 5 locations alongside branch managers and support staff.

•

Interface and communicate with sales department and customers regarding service.

•

Ensure operational procedures are followed for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current.

•

Maintain daily workflow for delivery orders. Ensures replenishment orders and returned merchandise are processed according to company standards.

•

Participate in planning safety, training, and plant protection activities. Ensures safety procedures are followed and makes recommendations regarding safety issues.

•

Informs senior management of physical condition of warehouse and equipment.

•

Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

•

Extensive experience in warehouse management/operations/distribution/logistics

•

Previous supply chain experience in a large corporate environment is ideal

•

Bachelors Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or equivalent work experience is preferred

•

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
