Job Overview
The Warehouse Manager plays a critical role in the supply chain operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, tracking, storage, and staging of inventory to ensure timely and accurate delivery to job sites. The Warehouse Manager will support inventory management, enforce safety standards, and collaborate closely with project managers, field managers, crew leads, and the warehouse coordinator.
Duties
•Ensure inventory movement is inline with the calendar and materials are delivered timely across facilities and site locations.
•Maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize shortages or overstock.
•Oversee and reconcile physical inventory and software tracking.
•Ensure proper storage of high-value and project-critical items.
•Analyze usage trends to improve stock forecasting.
•Collaborate with the Warehouse Coordinator to receive, inspect, and stock materials.
•Work with Field Managers to forecast job site needs.
•Work closely with Project Managers to validate the accuracy of the project calendar, ensuring material planning and dispatching are coordinated and efficient.
•Implement a staging process to bundle and assign materials for upcoming installs.
•Develop and oversee dispatch schedules to coordinate timely job site deliveries.
•Create dispatch schedules with the Warehouse Coordinator for timely job site drop-offs.
•Communicate with Field Crew Leads on tool returns, replacements, and delivery timelines.
•Take safety courses provided and enforce safety protocols and training for warehouse and delivery staff.
•Standardize warehouse layout, labeling, and shelving for high visibility and easy retrieval.
•Build reports for damaged or missing inventory items.
•Assist in implementing or improving warehouse software systems for reporting and visibility.
•Print and organize plans for installs, repairs, and electrical jobs.
•Update logs and documentation for inventory processing.
•Operate heavy machinery like forklifts to move and store inventory.
•Ensure the workspace is free of debris and remove safety hazards.
•Work as an active team member to complete team goals
•Prepare documentation and inventory for audits.
•Print plans for installs, repairs, and electrical work.
•Maintain and ensure safety protocol with engraving equipment.
•Manage and track change orders needed for a jobsite. Ensuring documentation is executed for excess material used on a jobsite.
Qualifications
•Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
•Strong knowledge of shipping/receiving processes and order fulfillment techniques.
•Familiarity with fleet management systems and demand planning strategies.
•Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
•Highly organized, able to navigate and complete tasks efficiently.
