Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This position involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations and possess a valid driver's license, with the ability to operate various types of vehicles and equipment.

Responsibilities

•

Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, to transport goods within the facility.

•

Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring all items are handled with care.

•

Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Assist with inventory management, including tracking stock levels and reporting discrepancies.

•

Drive delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

•

Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.

•

Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes and improve efficiency.

Qualifications

•

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.

•

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a school bus driver, delivery driver, or paratransit driver is advantageous.

•

Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required based on company policy.

•

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory and deliveries.

•

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.

•

Physical stamina to perform moving tasks, including lifting heavy items as needed.
