Warehouse Delivery Driver
The Warehouse Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering packaged and bulk oil, cleaning and other supplies to company locations and a dedicated customer base. Safely operate a tractor/trailer or straight truck. This is a high touch transport and delivery position with loading/unloading, inspecting and securing customer deliveries.*
Direct responsibilities include:
•Delivers packaged/bulk oil and products to company locations and customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner.
•May assist with pulling orders, load, unload, prepare, inspect freight.
•Review and verify invoices and purchase requests to ensure accuracy.
•Establish and maintain outstanding customer relationships.
•Inspect delivery vehicle and ensure the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
•Contact customers to confirm delivery details.
•Responsible for packaging bulk oil in drums and pails as needed.
•Perform some general truck maintenance.
•Observe and adhere to safety and security procedures.
•Provide timely response to customer requests and needs.
•Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
•Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Qualifications/Preferences: An individual must be able to perform or learn these essential duties satisfactorily. The list below is representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required and/or preferred.
•HS diploma or equivalent required.
•Class A/B CDL, Hazmat endorsements required and good driving record required.
•Ability to operate forklifts, manual pallet jacks and drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills.
•Basic computer knowledge and ability to write clearly, read and comprehend instructions.
•General truck maintenance experience helpful.
•Follow DOT regulations and safety standards required.
•Ability to work cohesively as a team.
•Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position.
