Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both commercial and residential spaces.
Duties
•
Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas.
•
Conduct industrial cleaning and maintain cleanliness in high-traffic areas.
•
Execute floor care procedures such as mopping and sweepinh to ensure surfaces are well-maintained.
•
Assist with custodial duties including waste disposal, restroom sanitation, and replenishing supplies.
•
Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards to management.
•
Engage in porter duties as needed, ensuring that common areas are tidy and presentable.
•
Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all locations.
Skills
•
Proven experience in industrial cleaning or commercial cleaning environments is preferred.
•
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
•
Knowledge of custodial practices, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
•
Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
•
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
•
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•
Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
