Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse, overseeing inventory management, and facilitating the smooth flow of goods. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsible for the Shop/ Garage including coordinating delivery of equipment and hauling lifts to customers and/or trips to mini warehouses, ensuring shop work is done. Responsible for the organizing of inventory, maintaining inventory levels using computerized systems, ordering/pulling inventory for technicians, creating purchase orders (PO) for the company and periodic inventory counts. Handle shipping and receiving functions for all divisions. Perform maintenance on all shop equipment as well as minor building maintenance. Other duties may be assigned.
Requires education generally equivalent to four years of high school, basic computer skills, and a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record. Must have basic math skills, ability to bend, stand, and lift, honest, reliable, self-motivated, possess good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to pay attention to detail and work with minimal supervision.
Commercial building maintenance involves routine upkeep and minor repairs to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and fully operational.
Purchasing and receiving involve the procurement of goods and services and the systematic handling of incoming deliveries. The purchasing function includes sourcing vendors, obtaining quotes, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials. Receiving involves verifying incoming shipments against orders, inspecting goods for quality, and properly documenting and storing inventory. This process ensures that necessary supplies and equipment are available to support uninterrupted business operations while maintaining accurate inventory records and vendor relationships.
