QMC Warehouse Associate - Toronto
QMC Metering Solutions supplies and integrates several meter technologies to effectively monitor the consumption of electricity, water, gas and thermal energy consumption of commercial and residential properties. We have offices in Coquitlam, Calgary, and Toronto and have a support and distribution network across the country including Edmonton and Montreal.
We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to assist with the smooth operations of our warehouse. Tasks include shipping and receiving and inventory management and preparing meters for sealing. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized and have strong attention to detail.
The Warehouse Associate for the Toronto office is an integral member of our team and will directly report to the Manager.
Responsibilities Include:
•Order fulfilment including the receiving, tagging and shipping of material through the warehouse
•Recording serial numbers and uploading to software when shipping out
•Cross reference serial numbers and products against packing slip when receiving
•Installing accessories in equipment prior to shipping out
•Taken photos of shipments prior to packaging and after packaging
•Prepare shipments by getting weights and dimensions
•Ability to manually wrap and strap skids
•At times operating power lift, power walkie, pump truck.
•Organizing and cleaning the warehouse
•Assist with order fulfilment process including the receiving and shipping material through the warehouse
•Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking.
•Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments and deliveries.
•Assist with Inventory management using the CRM system
•Report and communicate any issue/matter relating to sealing process and provide assistance as required
Skills and Experience required:
•Grade 12 High School diploma required
•Minimum 2 years’ experience in warehouse shipping and receiving
•Familiarity with metering equipment and communication systems is an asset
•Ability to use a pallet jack and to lift up to a minimum of 60 pounds
•Ability to identify, plan, organize, prioritize in a timely manner
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, must be fluent in English
•Competent in a Windows Office environment (Excel, Word, Outlook)
•Experience with CRM software and data entry an asset
•Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
•Standing, kneeling, walking for extensive period of times
