Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate performs an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock packing and shipping orders or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

The position follows standard work methods and practices safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.

Shift: 2nd

Schedule Days: Monday - Friday

Schedule Time: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Hourly Rate: $17.00

Responsibilities

Prepare and complete warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule

Receive and process warehouse inventory and perform inventory controls and keep quality standard high

Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization

Report any discrepancies

Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers

Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment

Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures rules and regulations

Completes deliveries by driving truck or van to and from vendors

Safely operate forklift

Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes

Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues

Stage material into production machinery

Prepare shipments for FDEX and UPS

Assure that the weekly schedule is completed

Maintain a constant visual on parts and supplies stored in warehouse

Shred paper and dispose of cardboard per company policy

Work as part of the team to maximize productivity and efficiency

Follow all company rules policies and safety rules

Provide back up to drivers as needed or requested

Prepare and present mail to USPS clerk

Load and unload trucks

Shred and bale paper and cardboard

Manage all material and waste on the production floor

Previous production warehouse experience

Ability to work standing for extended periods of time

Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Valid Drivers License
