Position Summary/Purpose:
To meet the goals and objectives of KTI Limited while providing customers (external & internal) with a positive experience. The DC Associate is expected to contribute and perform as a knowledgeable and effective member of the Distribution Center team. The Associate is responsible for executing all assigned tasks within the agreed timeline. Responsibilities and Duties are listed below but not limited to:
DC Duties/Responsibilities Include:
•Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pick up according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, ship)
•Receive and process DC replenishment stock products
•Report any discrepancies to DC Lead
•Operate and maintain DC equipment preventively
•Assisting with cycle count throughout the DC
•Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
•Help assist with inbound & outbound RMA orders are fully received, checked and correctly updated in the system (NetSuite)
•Ensure inventory integrity
•Create shipping documents and packing orders according to customer requirements
•Able to operate a hand scanner (WMS-RF Smart)
•Able to operate a computer using Email, Word, Excel
•Assisting DC associates with basic repairs
•Follow all health & safety protocol, policies and DC procedures
•Escalate all issues to the DC Team Lead
•Perform general housekeeping tasks within the DC
•Able to operate a forklift and pump truck in a safe manner
•Familiar with Quality check product on inbound and outbound
•Any other duties which may be assigned to you from time to time by your manager
Qualifications:
•General labour experience is preferred – 1 year minimum
•High school diploma or GED
•Current forklift certification is considered an asset
•Must be able to work at a fast pace
•Must be able to work most of the day on your feet, lifting, bending, climbing ladders and sorting
•Excellent customer service, communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
•Strong communication skills verbally and written
•Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
•Must have a driver’s license
•Must be able to work in a team environment
•Willingness to learn and grow with the company
•NetSuite experience is considered an asset
•Must have Certified CSA Standard shoes
