- Oversees and manages all operations associated with Inventory management and accuracy, Warehouse layout and upkeep, and customer service through distribution of all product sales.
- Develop and implement new processes as needed to improve efficiency in ordering, stocking and distribution
- Analyze inventory trends of purchases to establish accurate on-going order points for restocking
- Works alongside sales members while onboarding new customers to adequately increase order points and add new SKU’s.
- WICM supports all TSC customers primarily through Sales Team, Inside Sales and Management. Acts as internal support to outside staff support to end-users.
- Place stock orders from all manufacturers using Epicor PO system on a weekly or monthly basis
- Obtain confirmations after every PO is issued and confirm or adjust pricing discrepancies
- Update pricing and ETA’s as confirmations are received
- Review for accuracy and invoice all signed delivery tickets each day prior to end of business
- Responsible for all orders that are spoken for and that they are placed on an open order and show as committed in the Epicor system
- Responsible for sourcing and correctly inputting new SKU’s. (special order or industrial spo)
- Review open PO’s and follow up with vendors on orders that have not been received by their ETA.
- Responsible for managing cycle counting , moving dead stock , RMA’s , and controlling negative inventory
- Verify and receive all vendor deliveries through Epicor system, confirming quantities, quality, and pricing prior to completing receipt of products
- Make sure that all items are properly marked with SKU label and every item has a location designated in the system and warehouse
- Reviews “Open Orders Email” to make sure that all the items needed by sales team are on an sales order and back ordered products have been ordered accordingly
- Schedule meetings with vendors to source new products, seek competitive products, solicit marketing & training support, etc.
- Strive to generate monthly promotional sales flyers with target products which have either high margins, seasonal appeal or are dead/slow moving inventory.
- Notify Sales team when any non-stock, back ordered or pending products arrive that have been committed to an order so they may be picked up or scheduled immediately for delivery
- Responsible for pursuing rebates from all vendors annually
- Responsible to pursue cost reductions on high moving items weekly or when we are deemed to be uncompetitive in the market
- Responsible for continually seeking new competitive vendors / manufacturers
- Assist any members in division for covering down, training, or support
- Manages personnel within the PPE/Industrial division
- Handles HR issues within division along with executive management
- Represents division in all associated division management meetings
- 5 years’ or more of experience in Warehouse and Inventory Control Management
- Proficient in Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Point of Sale program experience a plus (EPICOR, QuickBooks)
