Conservation Halton was created to protect, restore and manage the natural resources in our watershed but we have grown to become so much more. Today, we protect our communities and conserve our natural environment through planning, education and recreation and to support our partners in the creation of sustainable communities within our watershed.

Your Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated individuals interested in participating in an ongoing volunteer program at Conservation Halton. Volunteer Core members contribute a minimum of 40 hours or participate in 10 opportunities throughout the program year.

Why volunteer?

The Volunteer Core supports several working groups within Conservation Halton including parks, stewardship, education, outreach and restoration throughout the year. Opportunities vary in responsibility, physical demands and activity types, with examples provided below:

Training will be provided based on the opportunity. Most opportunities run on weekdays during regular working hours, with some availability on weekends and evenings.
