The Volume Management Representative II/III coordinates with customers and company partners to optimize gas gathering and processing, ensuring system balance and compliance with contractual obligations. This role involves scheduling natural gas movements, managing imbalances, and monitoring pipeline capacity. This representative serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external customers, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB) guidelines. Additionally, the role includes preparing and analyzing reports on gas flows and market conditions to support decision-making.

Volume Management Rep III Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Manages daily gas nominations, confirmations, and scheduling with pipelines, shippers, and internal teams, ensuring compliance and coordination
- Resolves and tracks imbalances by collaborating with customers, pipelines, and marketing teams, supporting sound financial decision-making
- Acts as the primary contact for external stakeholders, maintaining relationships and communicating daily requirements
- Prepares and analyzes reports on gas flows, capacity constraints, and market conditions, identifying discrepancies and coordinating resolutions
- Ensures accurate reconciliation of nominations with flow data across systems, constraint points, and agreements
- Maintains desktop procedures, mentors team members, and ensures accurate data validation, process completion, report distribution, and public posting compliance
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business field and minimum of 5 years’ related experience in natural gas industry
- Preferred: Master’s degree in the business field and three to five years of natural gas scheduling experience and eight years of experience in the natural gas industry
- Must be willing to work after hours, on-call rotations, evenings, weekend shifts and holiday as needed
- May be required to work overtime

- Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
- Prepares and analyzes reports with a strong focus on accuracy and identifying discrepancies
- Interacts and communicates with external/internal partners to monitor nominations, flowing gas, imbalance positions, contract compliance and other key factors
- Performs scheduling duties and assignments such as validation of data, successful completion of all internal processes, distribution of reports and meets public posting requirements
- Monitors and analyzes data to identify discrepancies; communicates with others identify resolutions

- Required: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum six (6) months related experience
- Must be available to work after hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekend shifts and holidays as the need arises
- May be required to work overtime

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
- Knowledge of the energy industry
- Preferred: Experience calculating, summarizing, and analyzing data using PivotTables
- Preferred: Proficiency in GasKit, ClearSCADA and FlowCal platforms
, Under moderate supervision, nominates, schedules, confirms and monitors gas flow to pipelines from tailgate of plants and from other interconnects, ensuring delivery of receipts within contract requirements. Tracks volume requirements and flow vs. sales with pipelines and makes decisions relative to the OBA balances. Monitors sales and reporting and engages in negotiation activities relative to gas control, transportation and the pipeline grid and daily sourcing optimization. Makes decisions on various options for gas flow, coordinating with field and plant personnel to re direct gas flow when problems arise in the plants or systems or on the pipeline. Verifies volumes directly with operations and/or through monitoring SCADA, provides daily volume estimates to marketing for future sales, communicates with operations to ensure flow rates consistent with pipeline capabilities, and confirms volume information to pipelines. Can solve a variety of straightforward problems using knowledge of system, pipeline grid and process of scheduling and nominating gas.
