VMI Work Competency Assessor

Position: VM Work Competency Assessor Certified Treecare Safety Professional (CTSP) or Consulting Utility Forester Safety Professional (CUFSP)

Location: Oroville, CA

Company: Clear Path Utility Solutions, LLC.

Pay: $35-45/hour

CPUS is seekinga Senior Veg Management Work Competency Evaluator to perform VM Assessments to ensure compliance with OSHA, ANSI and utility line clearance standards of tree trimming personnel through field observations at PG&E's Oroville yard. The Evaluator administers various types of tests or assessments to determine if operations employees in Vegetation Management are performing their job functions correctly and safely.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:* Perform VM Work Competency Evaluations on a specific area of skill/knowledge including, but not limited to, any task(s) preformed within vegetation management work, and may involve chainsaw use, tree felling, climbing, & cutting aloft, limbing & bucking, and use of aerial lift.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Minimum Requirements* High School Diploma or GED.

License/Certification Minimum:* Valid driver’s license.

License/Certification Desired:* OSHA 30.

Experience Desired:* Utility line clearance.
