Job Summary
Manages customer inventory levels by revieing each locations inventory weekly and placing purchase orders as needed. Works with internal manufacturing locations when customers run low or are stocked out to get them restocked as soon as possible.
Job Duties
- Reviews customer inventory level through 3rd party provider
- Places Purchase orders and initiates cancelations and returns to manage customer inventory levels
- Has responsibility for customer in stock % and inventory turns
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under minimal supervision
- Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
- Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Typically require a bachelor's degree and 1 to 3 years of experience
