Virtual Design & Construction Manager

The Weitz Company is seeking a VDC Manager. The successful candidate will initially be based in Denver, CO, with a subsequent assignment to a project in Telluride, CO, beginning in Q2 2025 and continuing through the project's completion. Once the project concludes, the candidate will return and be located out of the Denver, CO office.

The VDC Manager is responsible for managing VDC operations on a construction project, including execution of modeling, photography and other emerging technologies. This role ensures workflows amongst project teams are streamlined and enhancing VDC use on assigned project(s). The VDC Manager I typically reports to the Senior VDC Manager.

What You'll Do:

What We're Looking For:

+ A minimum of 5 years of architectural services, construction or manufacturing experience is required, including at least two (2) years of VDC/BIM management. + LEAN principles experience is desirable. + OSHA 10 or 30 preferred, or the willingness to obtain upon hire. + Demonstrate initiative, independent judgment, analytical and organizational skills. + Show strong attention to detail, verbal and written communication, time management, flexibility and problem solving abilities. + An industry-related bachelor's degree is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. + Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. + The employee should have working knowledge of Autodesk software programs (Revit AutoCAD and Navisworks) and a general understanding of VDC software (Sketchup, Fuzor, Infraworks, Adobe Suite), systems and hardware, and the ability to learn other specific software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, scheduling software, etc.).
