We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Vice President of Sales to lead our Gulf South Region sales organization. This role will play a critical part in driving strategic growth, maximizing revenue, and expanding our market share, while fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Lead, manage, and develop all sales personnel in the Gulf South Region—including recruitment, training, performance management, and daily coaching.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Oversee and participate in complex negotiations, providing support and guidance to your team throughout the project lifecycle.
- Align and collaborate with the sales and operational leadership and the to set goals, develop forecasts, and drive region-wide initiatives.
- Review and approve sales-related expenses and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Manage the regional trade show strategy, representing the company and coaching the team on event execution and lead generation.
- Drive the growth and development of the sales team through new and existing initiatives.
- Analyze, compile, and present sales metrics, acting as a strategic thought partner with UGS sales and Azuria leadership.
- Approve competitive project-specific pricing to balance profitability with customer value.
- Stay current on industry trends, customer needs, and competitive activity in the municipal water and infrastructure technology markets.
- Bachelor’s degree (engineering, business, or related field preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in technical direct sales or as a consulting engineer within the municipal water market strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of leading high-performing sales teams in a business-to-business environment.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic mindset with strong analytical, organizational, and leadership capabilities.
- Willingness to travel within the region as necessary.
