A newly created role resulting from a recent restructure into two distinct P&L divisions—Large Projects and Service—this is a pivotal moment for the right leader to step in, set the standard, and drive excellence across the board. You won’t be sitting in an office pushing paper. You’ll be in the field, on the projects, and with the people—solving problems in real time while charting the strategic path forward. This role is for someone who thrives on fixing fundamentals, building strong teams, and creating lasting operational discipline.
- Lead with impact – Provide vision and direction for both divisions, ensuring alignment with company goals and a culture of accountability.
- Fix what’s broken – Address gaps in expectations, role clarity, and processes, turning challenges into sustainable improvements.
- Be present and engaged – Spend time on job sites and with teams, building trust while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and on budget.
- Develop leaders – Coach and grow division heads, project managers, and field leaders to perform at their highest potential.
- Drive operational excellence – Standardize workflows, improve efficiency, and elevate quality to reinforce Knobelsdorff’s reputation for industry-leading performance.
Are you ready to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front? A successful candidate will bring the following:
- Senior leadership experience in electrical construction, industrial contracting, or a related field.
- Proven success leading multiple divisions or P&Ls through growth, change, or turnaround.
- A hands-on leadership style that balances strategic vision with in-the-trenches engagement.
- The ability to set clear expectations, hold teams accountable, and inspire high performance.
- Strong client relationship skills and a commitment to safety, quality, and results.
