Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Utility Pipe Testing Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various construction and maintenance projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities while adhering to safety protocols and project timelines.
Duties
•
Manage and ensure that all material and equipment are organized and accessible.
•
Overseeing the process to test water and sewer lines along with air testing mandrill and vacuum testing man holes.
•
Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets project specifications and standards.
•
Collaborate with project managers to manage schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
•
Utilize software tools such as ProCore for project scheduling, documentation, and communication.
•
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and regulations.
Experience
•
Must have previous experience in a utility worker or similar role within the construction industry.
•
Experience building rigs, jumpers and blow off lines is preferred.
•
Familiarity with quality control processes and techniques is essential.
•
Proficiency in blueprint reading is highly desirable.
•
Experience with project management software ProCore will be considered an asset.
•
Strong skills in budgeting and construction estimating will enhance your application.
•
Ability to manage time effectively while working on multiple projects simultaneously.
