Utility Operator - 2nd shift

High Steel Service Center has a 200,000-square-foot facility with 150,000 tons of capacity. A full-line metal processor and distributor, High Steel Service Center offers carbon steel, aluminum flat rolled, and stainless steel products.

We are actively seeking a utility operator to join our 2nd-shift operations.

2nd shift: Monday - Friday from 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, as well as overtime based on business demands.

Positions start around $19.50/hr, or higher, based on experience, and pay a $3.00/hr shift differential.

Utility Operators perform a variety of duties including truck loading, order pulling, skid building, machine operating and general material handling. They will be required to operate overhead cranes, side-loaders and forklifts to move materials around the facility. The utility operator will be required to rotate through positions on a regular basis as needed to meet customer demand.
