Were Hiring: Full-Time Utility Arborist

High Tech Industries is looking to hire a skilled full-time Utility Arborist to join our team! The successful candidate will work on vegetation management around utility lines, ensuring public safety and system reliability.

Position Overview:

· Location: Miramichi, NB and surrounding area

· Type: Full-time

· Pay: Competitive industry wages based on experience

Responsibilities:

· Pruning and removing trees near power lines

· Following all safety and regulatory requirements

· Operating and maintaining equipment (chippers, chainsaws, bucket trucks)

· Working closely with the utility and our team to ensure high-quality service

· Keeping work areas safe, clean, and organized

Requirements:

· Certified Utility Arborist (or working toward certification)

· Strong understanding of electrical hazards and safe work practices

· Experience with climbing, bucket truck operation, and rigging

· Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Other classes and endorsements considered an asset)

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Strong work ethic and reliability

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and on call as needed
