Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Foreman to lead our landscape construction team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for constructing beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves overseeing landscape construction projects, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and fostering a collaborative team environment. As a Landscape Foreman, you will be responsible for physically installing and supervising various landscaping projects, including: Driving large trucks through Urban areas, Reading and interpreting 2d and 3d plans, building Decks, Fences, Retaining walls, Patios, Planting trees/shrubs/perennials, Pruning, Landscape lighting installation, Irrigation installation and a little metal fabrication. Training is available for all these categories for the right candidate to fill in a few gaps.
Pay is established after a one week to one month try out period. Pay is based on performance and production. If you tend to get a lot done in a day then you will love working with us.
Special consideration will be given to anyone with landscape design degree, landscape architecture degree or similar education.
Responsibilities
•Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping operations, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to company standards.
•Train and mentor team members on best practices in landscape construction and safety protocols.
•Build and maintain positive relationships with clients through effective communication and quality service delivery.
•Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
Qualifications
•Must be willing to pass a narcotics test and CORY background check.
•Proven experience in landscape construction or a related field is required.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
•Knowledge of construction and horticulture practices, including plant care, irrigation systems, and pruning.
•Ability to operate landscaping vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently in an Urban environment.
•Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in constructing landscapes.
•Strong communication skills to interact with plan set, clients and team members on a professional level.
•A valid driver's license is absolutely required for transportation to job sites.
