Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Unloader to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and effective unloading of goods from trucks and containers, ensuring that all products are handled with care and accuracy. This role is crucial in maintaining the flow of materials within our distribution center, contributing to the overall efficiency of our operations.

Duties

- Safely unload shipments from trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment.

- Sort and organize products for easy access and inventory management.

- Operate RF scanners to track inventory and update warehouse management systems.

- Conduct quality checks on incoming goods to ensure they meet company standards.

- Assist in loading outgoing shipments as needed.

- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize unloading processes.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.

- Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper materials handling techniques are followed.

Experience

- Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in distribution or shipping & receiving roles.

- Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment such as cranes, clamp trucks, and forklifts.

- Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation is advantageous.

- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.

- Background in construction or materials handling can be beneficial.

Pay: From $17.50 per hour
