Position

UG Tele-Remote Scoop Operator (Miner II – Production), Nunavut

Location and Reporting Structure

Reporting to the Underground Production Supervisor, this position will be a fly in- fly out 3x3 rotation based in Nunavut, Canada.

Responsibilities

 Pre and post blast inspections  Set-up of tele-remote system including access points, gates, etc.

 Production haulage  Stope loading, timing, and blasting according to design

 Mine services installations  Accurate and timely reporting of shift details to the Shift Supervisor

 Recognizing ground conditions and following protocol when poor ground conditions are encountered

Compensation and Benefits

For informational purposes, the estimated annual earnings are $146,757.00 for 2184 scheduled hours (combined regular hourly rate of $53.25 and overtime rate of $79.88) in a work year.
