Summary

Provides field inspection, liaison and coordination to assist project construction, maintenance and operating personnel, customers, developers, and contractors to assure power application of materials and conformance to adopted procedures and standards of all underground electrical distribution to installations. Reviews and establishes construction schedules practices and requirements.

What It Takes To Succeed

Experience

A minimum of 3 years Senior Inspector: Three years equivalent or related experience as a Journeyman in an electrical trade, Designer, Electrical Trades Helper, Engineering Technician, Scheduler/Planner or Underground Facility Locator. Plus a minimum of 2 years equivalent experience as a level one Underground Electrical Inspector or comparable experience as a Journeyman in an electrical trade, or Designer. Inspector 1: Three years equivalent or related experience as a journeyman in an electrical trade, Designer, Electrical Trades Helper, Engineering Technician, Scheduler/Planner or Underground Facility Locator.

Education

Minimum of 15 college credits (100+) related to the position from an accredited institution is preferred.

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona. We are taking steps to protect the health and well-being of all team members, and by following a number of health and safety protocols, to reduce the risk of the coronavirus (COVID-19).
