Job Description: As a Trumpf TruMatic Operator you would be responsible for setup and operation of our Trumpf TruMatic 5000 laser punch cutting machine with TruStore 3030 tower system, to process sheets into products. This work includes use of material handling equipment, part removal from cutting processes, part cleanup/sanding/deburr/remove oxides and packaging to meet customer orders for quality conforming parts.

Job Responsibilities:

- Read and follow instructions on job traveler

- Read and understand blueprints

- Use basic measure tools such as pins, caliper, tape measure, height gage

- Follow and document quality plan for inspection of parts

- Match material types, thickness and finish to requirements on the job traveler, material tags

- Recognize defects in parts, not limited to rust, damage, missing features, not matching print.

- Identify material type in conformance with print / job traveler specification

- Handle parts for the process and package according to instructions

- Label parts with matching job label including quantity and next operation

- Operate machine controls including loading programs, cut condition selection, punch tool settings, cut condition settings to produce a part meeting specifications.

- Assemble, setup and install punch tooling into ToolMaster tool changer

- Insert raw material and remove finished product from TruStore material handling system

- Removal of parts, scrap and raw material skeletons using various material handling methods including, hand unload, pallet jack, or forklift use.

- Maintain machine, work areas and tooling to ensure a clean and safe environment, this includes general cleaning and housekeeping.

Skills/Qualifications: Experience running a Trumpf TruMatic laser punch combination machine is a much, 1 year or more is preferred. Use of TruStore or STOPA material storage system experience preferred. Other branded laser punch combination machines with storage system experience will also be given strong consideration. General part handling and use of tools. Forklift use will be a required part of this position for loading/unloading tower system. Process experience such as remove oxides, multiple deburr methods and part packaging is desired. Will train the right candidate based on experience. Attention to processes, print and process requirements, quality control and following instruction are important skills for success in this role.

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift

- 1st shift -M-TH 4AM to 2:30 PM

- 2nd shift-M-TH 2:30PM to 1:00 AM

- Overtime

Job Type: Full-time
