Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various types of truck driving. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe transportation of materials while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Our drivers are responsible for delivering materials to and from suppliers, jobsite, dumpsite and pits.

Responsibilities

•

Operate trucks of various types.

•

Ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials sometimes using forklifts when necessary.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.

•

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and material delivered.

•

Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.

•

Provide excellent customer service during deliveries by being courteous and professional.

•

Assist in the training of new drivers as needed.

Qualifications

•

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B with Air Brake Endorsement and a clean driving record.

•

Experience driving a truck with various transmissions and controls

•

Previous experience in truck driving or delivery is desired.

•

Ability to pass all required Motor Vehicle Record checks and drug screenings.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

•

Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
