Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as a passion for driving and delivering exceptional service.

Duties

•

Operate various types of trucks, including flatbed, dump truck, roll-off truck, and tractor-trailer.

•

Execute route driving to deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner.

•

Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of materials.

•

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.

•

Maintain accurate logs of hours worked, mileage driven, and cargo delivered.

•

Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.

•

Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Qualifications

•

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.

•

Proven experience in truck driving, specifically with flatbed, dump truck, roll-off truck, or tractor-trailer.

•

Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation.

•

Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo.

•

Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

•

Attention to detail and commitment to safety practices while driving.

•

Flexibility in working hours as required by delivery schedules.
