Truck Drivers work transporting material and equipment to and from our construction jobs. Other duties include inspecting vehicles for mechanical issues relating to safe operation, and basic repair work.
Hours of Work: Normal schedule is Monday – Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm; overtime and weekend work as required. The normal schedule may be subject to change as needed.
- Transport equipment and materials
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Document and log work.
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
- Other duties as assigned
- The ability to determine and use appropriate equipment and materials required to do work.
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc)
- Valid truck driving license Class A CDL or commercial driver license
- Must pass drug and alcohol test
- Must provide current MVR
- Must provide a medical certificate
