Trimming and Edging Crew member

We are hiring crew members for an edging crew.

At least 2 years of experience in trimming and edging turf for the Crew member position.

Experience in trimming and edging at large sites and operation of commercial landscape equipment.

Attention to detail a must.

Ability to work in the heat and cold.

Ability to walk briskly all day. Position requires being on your feet all day with the exception specified breaks.

Ability to lift 50-60 pounds.

Ability to take direction from the CEO and office manager and follow a schedule.

Attend daily morning meetings.

Ability to meet deadlines.

Must own cell phone to be able clock in and out for work and communicate with the office. This is non-negotiable.

Minor experience with equipment maintenance

Must wear long pants of specified color and in presentable condition. Shirts are issued by company. Must wear steel toed safety boots, and appropriate PPE such as safety glasses and hearing protection.

Federal holidays paid days off.

This landscaping job is located at the same location all day, every day of the week. The hours for the most part are set to normal work day hours. Overtime is rarely required. As a landscaper this is a wonderful perk. No getting in a truck to drive across town to then have to drive back to the shop. You simply show up and start working, then go home when clocked out.
