A successful Tree Trimming and ROW Groundman is a strong team-player willing and able to take direction from peers and superiors. This position requires a hard-working person, who can assist a crew to ensure proper tree trimming and maintenance of right-of-way (ROW) areas. Safety is a top priority for this position; on-the-job training will be provided.
· Typical work schedule is four (4) ten-hour days per week
· Majority of work takes place outdoors with exposure to adverse conditions such as extreme heat or cold, high winds, and stormy weather.
· Must be able to meet or exceed the requirements outlined in the job description below.
· High school diploma or equivalent is required.
· This is a dangerous occupation; extreme vigilance and attention to high safety standards is required.
· Must possess a current Texas driver license and maintain an insurable driving record.
· Must have or be able to obtain a CDL.
· Must be able to complete and pass CPR and First Aid training.
· Must have physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in extreme weather conditions.
