Traveling Highway Construction Laborer

Interstate Improvement, Inc. is a general highway contractor based in Faribault, MN. We perform concrete highway repair throughout the continental US.

We have a immediate openings for a laborers positions. This position will be on a crew that is performing work in South Dakota, North Dakota, & Minnesota. You will be working on a highway repair crew performing concrete jackhammering, rebar installation, and concrete pouring. These crews are team orientated so there will be opportunities to perform various tasks and learn new skills.

Qualifications/ required skills

- Valid Driver’s License required

- Must have an acceptable motor vehicle record

- Ability to be away from home for extended periods of time

- 18 years of age or older and 21 years or older to drive a company vehicle.

- Ability to work extended hours in adverse weather conditions

- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more

- Willingness to follow directions, be productive without constant supervision all while remaining safety conscious

Benefits/ Pay

- Prevailing Wage pay ranging from $24 to $35/ hr

- Overtime rates apply
