Are you the Transportation and Equipment Technician we're looking for?

To excel as a Transportation and Equipment Technician at Choptank Electric Cooperative, candidates must possess a strong mechanical aptitude for repairs on all types of equipment managed by the automotive section. Proficiency in interpreting maintenance manuals is essential for effective troubleshooting and repair processes. Skills in acetylene and electric welding are necessary for various tasks, while a valid Maryland Class "A" Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or the ability to obtain a CDL permit and enroll in an authorized training program within 90 days is required.
