Mansfield Service Partners is currently seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join our innovative team as a Transport Lubricant Sales Representative in the Houston, TX area. The products we distribute are specifically designed to meet the needs of mid-size to larger fleets, dealing in construction and off-road vehicles, and for heavy-duty equipment installers. As a Transport Lubricant Sales Representative, your primary focus will be on new business development. You will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new accounts within the transport industry. This role requires a proactive approach to sales, as you will be the first line of contact for potential customers. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to share wallet gains with existing customers, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities

Identify, prospect, and acquire new accounts within the transport industry.
Implement plans for growth in existing accounts utilizing active pipeline management techniques and CRM tools.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Transport Lubricants Sales Manager and Associate Business Unit Manager regarding sales activities and assignments as required.
Participate in training programs and group exercises as directed by the Transport Lubricants Sales Manager. Incorporate ongoing training and development tools into day-to-day activities to better manage market changes, product knowledge, and processes necessary to develop outside sales growth.
Communicate customer needs and service issues to the correct people within Mansfield Service Partners so a timely and positive resolution can be provided.
Establish clear lines of communications with key personnel related to Safety, Customer Service, Operations, Technical Staff, Credit, Finance, IT, Sales, Purchasing and Equipment departments.
Prepare and present sales presentations in conjunction with suppliers and technical resources to include Value Proposition, KPI management, Customer Programs, Brand Awareness, Cost Reduction and Consolidation, Technical Services, Cross Marketing, etc.*
Possess a thorough understanding of long and short-term goals as they relate to:
+ Company growth + Key Account management + Increased products and services growth year over year + Meeting or exceeding monthly DGP (direct gross profit) goals set by management + Goal related compensation


Provide quotes, follow up with customers and maintain healthy relationships with external and internal customer base.
Ensure delivery of customer orders on a timely basis and with the highest possible level of communication, quality, and service.
Coordinate with appropriate departments in the resolution of customer complaints regarding damaged or incorrect material, or delivery problems.
Other duties as assigned by management.


Position Requirements


Minimum Education, Experience and Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or Operations a plus.
Valid driver’s license required
Machinery Lubrication Technician and Certified Lubrication experience a plus, but not required


Knowledge and Experience

Two (2) or more years of Transport or Industrial Lubricants Sales experience required.
Two (2) or more years of outside sales/territory management experience.


Skills and Abilities

Must possess effective written and oral communication skills
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and problem-solving techniques and skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build and maintain customer relationships
Strong teamwork skills
Ability to organize, project plan, and meet deadlines
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to achieve sales targets
