This is the top craft level of the Line Technician hierarchy. A Line Technician II will assist and safely lead lower level technicians in activities associated with substation construction and maintenance. Incumbents are expected to have advanced technical and leadership skills and the ability to work independently and lead medium to large construction and maintenance activities. Capable of serving on committees and resolving advanced technical matters.

Basic/Required Qualifications* High School Diploma/GED

Additional Preferred Qualifications* Advanced technical and professional knowledge, skills and performance. frequently leads others

Working Conditions* Demonstrated availability for after- hour’s work and call out rotation

Specific Requirements* High School diploma or equivalent and minimum of 3 years of Transmission or Distribution substation maintenance or construction experience or equivalent job-related and educational experience
