Overview
We are seeking a detail-driven Transaction Coordinator to oversee the collection, review and approval of due diligence requirements for private equity investments in renewable energy infrastructure projects across legal, technical, financial, regulatory and environmental dimensions.
The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in transactional and legal due diligence and a demonstrable history of successful cross-functional collaboration with both internal and external teams.
Experience in non-residential utility-scale and community solar farms a plus.
· Implement due diligence processes, frameworks, and checklists to evaluate technical, financial, legal, and regulatory risks.
· Collaborate with internal and external cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, environmental, finance, real estate, permitting, investors, etc.) to assess project viability and risk and ensure informed, risk-mitigated decisions.
· Review and synthesize third-party reports (e.g., interconnection studies, environmental assessments, title commitments, technical feasibility reports).
· Identify, assess, and escalate key project risks to senior leadership and recommend mitigation strategies.
· Coordinate closely with legal counsel on contracts, permits, title matters, and compliance issues.
· Collaborate with business development teams on transaction structuring and execution timelines.
· Maintain organized due diligence data rooms and ensure documentation completeness and accuracy.
· Coordinate pay app requests with internal teams.
· Address and resolve issues that may arise before, during, or after closing and manage closing process for transactions.
· Order and review title commitments and final policies; review ALTA surveys in connection with title commitments and policies
· Coordinate with lenders, investors and attorneys to ensure all necessary documents are received and accurate.
· Ensure all documents are properly signed, notarized, and recorded.
· Perform post-closing tasks such as compiling closing binders and updating internal server to include all final documents.
· Maintain compliance with legal and internal standards throughout the closing process.
- B.S. Degree in business, with an emphasis in finance and accounting.
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of real estate paralegal experience coordinating legal, financial, and commercial real-estate project transactions.
