Traffic Signal Construction/Excavation Laborer

Electric Light Company, Inc. is a Traffic Signal Installation/Maintenance company located in Cape Neddick, ME. We are looking for a laborer to add to our team. Electric Light services clients in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Vermont.

A clean driving record and team player is a MUST

Job Responsibilities:

· Perform physical tasks at roadway traffic signal intersections.

· Example: Digging dirt using shovels and machinery.

· May dig trenches, install conduit, install mast arm foundations, install pull boxes to support excavator, auger truck, vac truck, crane truck and utility operators.

· Maintain a clean work space.

· Reading plans, grades, lift and carry objects & materials of various weights.

· Ability to work as a part of a team.

· Demonstrates a willingness to take initiative to anticipate work and do what needs to be done.

· Regulate traffic as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
