Overview
Performs administrative support duties in varied functions and/or project team situations based on priorities, duties, policies, and program goals. Applying understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the department and/or project team.
Responsibilities•Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment
•Communicating with customers, carriers, sales/customer service, team members daily.
•Printing orders and dispersing to proper storeroom or packing areas
•Accurately processing and labelling shipments, both domestic and international.
•Printing Bill of ladings and other supporting documentation for shipments
•Monitoring and assisting with sub-work as needed
•Occasional packing of parts as needed.
•Monitoring the gate to allow vehicles access into the area.
•Other general administrative duties may be required.
Qualifications
•High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
•2-4 years of logistics experience preferred
•Intermediate experience with Microsoft office, shipping software and Syteline preferred.
•Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important in order to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, other department personnel and customers.
•Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is important.
•Ability to receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
•Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts with ability to persuade, influence and facilitate problem resolution.
